Our Main Street Austin Studio

Our   studio,   located   at   223   North   Main   Street   in   Downtown   Austin   is   our largest   studio   ever.   Over   the   years   we’ve   been   in   several   locations,   but   this is   by   far   the   largest   and   most   work-friendly   space   we’ve   ever   been   in.   It features    a    nice    front    lobby    with    room    for    the    customers    to    enter    and conduct   business,   a   very   large   front   office   which   serves   as   the   business office   and   John’s   Office,   then   there   is   a   large   Production   and   Editing   Studio, a   Green   Screen   studio,   a   printing   and   film   transfer   room   and   an   equipment storage   room.   There’s   also   a   large   basement   space   which   we   don’t   use   very much.   We’ll   post   a   studio   tour   video   here   when   we   get   a   chance.   Stay   tuned for    that    or    stop    by    and    get    a personal tour.

Aerial Video is now a reality and it’s

really fun, too!

With   the   miniaturization   of   nearly   everything,   it   was   natural   that   video camera   would   get   so   small   they   could   be   carried   on   a   small   helicopter. That’s   exactly   what   we   do   with   our   new   DJI   Quadcopter   and   GoPro   Hero3 Camera   system.   We   can   fly   up   to   400   feet   into   the   air   and   capture   some stunning footage. Works   great   to   shoot   the   entire   building   for   a   corporate   video   like   a   hospital, school   or   church.   We’ve   used   it   at   a   couple   of   outdoor   weddings   with   really cool   results.   It   shoots   super   sharp   high-def   footage   and   is   a   blast   to   fly.   And it survives even the most horrific crashes, trust me, I know.

High-Definition upgrades throughout

the entire production process

With   the   acceptance   of   the   new   high-definition   television   standards,   we’ve upgraded   our   entire   system   to   the   new   standards.   From   editing   computers and   monitors,   to   cameras   and   live   switching   gear...it   has   been   an   expensive but   fulfilling   change.   Re-tooling   your   entire   infrastructure   is   never   fun,   but the   results   are   spectacular.   All   of   our   work   is   now   done   in   full   1920   x   1080 HD   resolution.   We   can   still   deliver   standard-definition   DVD’s,   but   because we’re   shooting   such   high   quality   footage,   your   DVD   looks   even   better   than before.    Our    new    TriCaster    switcher    allows    us    to    switch    between    four camera, two laptops, tons of graphics and videos and even do virtual sets!
“It’s much easier to find and parking is never a problem We have room for all our stuff, without having to set it up and take it down all the time” John Deyo
